Summary

DmB Yachting Group is looking for an experienced leader who can fulfil the role of the Director/Manager of Yacht Management and reports findings to the owner/representative.

This role involves managing and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of a fleet of yachts and effectively managing various aspects of the Yachts operations, crews and finance.

DETAILS: Start Date: 1st May 2021 Salary Range: 12,000 - 15,000 EURO DOE Permanent contract: with an excellent package inc, shoreside relocation, accommodation, car, health insurances, flights... Leave Allowance: 45 Days per year
The Team: An established, dynamic and experienced management team

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Working with the owner's interest in managing a dynamic and expanding fleet of mid-to-large Superyachts Work effectively with other members of a dynamic management team Supervision of technical matters Customer services Control over the procurement process Ensure compliance with company financial processes and procedures, taking remedial action to address any issues. Review and comment on monthly expenses and assist in forecasting budgets Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers/contractors as needed Crew management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Profile: This position will be well suited to a person with extensive knowledge of the responsibilities and skillset listed, such as Captains, Chief Engineers, Technical Superintendents. This may come from commercial or yachting experience. Essential Skillset/knowledge in: Refit Management Payroll Insurance Vessel inventories Knowledge about health and safety having an understanding of financial management functions and laws of different regions Well versed with the Flag state laws and regulations. Acquainted with Class, ISM, ISPS, Port State Control and SOLAS codes that cover safety measures and rules and regulations regarding marine vessels

The candidate should be excellent at problem-solving, prioritising tasks, communicating effectively, and should have strong technical experience. Responding to all manner of concerns and queries from the Yacht Owner/Representative.

Proven longevity and excellent supporting references essential.
