Relief Chief Officer - possible team with Chief Stewardess

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A RELIEF ROLE!!

IMPORTANT: This is an active ON DECK role. We will be cruising with the owner so duties are 85% on deck/15% bridge admin. Owner is very active so lots of fishing, kite surfing, watersports. This is not a bridge duties only role.

Summary: Relief Chief Officer for motor yacht 47m – currently cruising Bahamas. Private/charter.

Start date: 22 April for 6-7 weeks

Qualifications: MCA Chief Mate 3000gt/OOW, STCW Basic & Advanced safety, ENG1, GMDSS,

Beneficial qual’s & skills: Safety Officer, Medical Person in Charge (MPIC), Helm Management, ECDIS,PWC Instructor, Fishing, Kite surf, IT skills

Required experience: 3-4 years on yachts, 1-2 years as Chief Officer on 40m+. Extensive watch keeping experience including night watches, ISM/Mini ISM experience, navigating in tropical waters.

Main duties: Chief Officer admin duties, safety officer, Safety management, management of deck team of 2, tender driving, water sports, navigation, deck maintenance.

Cabin: Shared with one other crew (possible partner with Chief Stewardess)

Other: All qualifications to be valid for duration of role

Salary: DOE – paid in $USD

Program: Owner trips in the Bahamas

Location: PREFER CANDIDATES IN THE USA OR NEARBY
