Summary
Captain wanted for a brand new 100 foot private MY which will launch in April 2025.
Open to couples with a Sole stewardess or a Chef.
Location: Worldwide destinations starting in Southeast Asia and surrounding waters
The captain will be responsible for overseeing a crew of 4-5, ensuring the yacht’s safe operation and maintaining a high level of service to the owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and crew management: Foster a positive working
- Navigation and safety: Plan and execute global navigation routes
ensuring compliance with international maritime laws, government customs and immigration, quarantine rules and regulations, weather conditions and safety regulations.
- Yacht maintenance: Oversee day-to-day maintenance of the vessel ensuring that all mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems are in excellent working order. Manage repairs, refits and scheduled maintenance as needed.
- Budgeting and provisioning: Manage the yachts’s budget for fuel, supplies, repairs, upkeep, cleaning and provisioning.
- Administration and reporting: Maintain accurate records of the yacht’s operation, including voyage logs, maintenance schedules, crew certifications and expenses.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Master 200GT or higher certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Captain of yachts 100 feet or larger with proven track record in long distance voyages preferably in the Pacific waters
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding and hands on experience of marine systems including navigation, engine maintenance, electrical systems, electronic hardware and software trouble shooting, and hydraulics.
- Language stills: English fluency verbal and writing required.
