Summary
Seeking a personable, professional Culinary trained Male Seasonal Chef for a private 50m M/Y heading to the Caribbean for the upcoming winter season.
Vessel will depart from Fort Lauderdale early December and return in early April.
This is a seasonal contract.
Male only due to cabin arrangements. English must be your first language.
Lovely US owners and family (adult children and grandchildren). Active, normal family, not big party people.
Crew of 9 that all get on great and work well as a team. Great Captain.
We are looking for someone with the following skills and attributes:
- Team player and with an easy-going personality. Drama free.
- Diversity in preparing types of international cuisines along with creative American style dishes.
- Experience/knowledge of dietary restrictions/food allergies.
- Willingness to prepare healthy and diverse crew meals.
- Cleanliness and organizational skills are imperative.
- Complete non smoker/non vaper.
B1/B2 visa (Schengen if applicable for the Caribbean), STCW, ENG1, Culinary degree
Start: December 5th in Fort Lauderdale, Finish April 5th (give or take)
Salary: 11-11.5k per month
Full medical, vacation leave will be accrued as well as a seasonal bonus (based on guest usage).
