Chief Engineer in Italy

Summary

HMG is looking for a ROTATIONAL Chief Engineer for a 55m+ Sailing yacht.

·        Y3 Minimum required (or Equivalent)

·        At least 5 years on large Sailing Yachts as Chief.

·        B1B2 and Schengen Visa’s required.

·        Charter experience preferred.

·        Start mid-January.

A high-profile sailing yacht is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join their team of 10. Heavy and well-known Charter yacht, operating dual seasons.

You must have good experience with modern Yacht systems, winches and PLC controls very highly desired. Proven longevity in previous roles highly desired.

Single cabin, 2 on/off rotation, salary at 10k Euro. Tips are shared 50/50 between Chiefs.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
