Rotational 2nd Engineer Role on Private 80m+ Yacht
Position Overview:
Seeking an independent, skilled 2nd Engineer with strong electrical knowledge to join an experienced engineering team of four. This is a hands-on role supporting a busy summer period with minimal use the rest of the year. Helicopter operations involved during peak season. This vessel is mainly Mediterranean based.
Requirements:
- Certification: Commercial: 2nd Engineer unlimited (2/E-MN III/3) Yacht (old): Y2 Small vessel: SV Chief Engineer <9000kW
- Experience: Ability to lead daily engineering tasks independently
- Fit: Ideal for a candidate seeking long-term placement, not a rapid step up
Rotation: Full rotation 2:2
Start Date: Early 2025
Salary: DOE, Paid in Euros
