Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 80m New Build The yacht is currently under construction under the management of the Burgess New Build team. The yacht is due for delivery spring/early summer 25. This will be a commercially compliant, privately registered yacht. No charter. The yacht will be dual season (Med/Caribbean/Bahamas)
Start Date Nov-Dec During the build, the position will be full time (non-negotiable). Once the yacht is operational the position will be rotation. We are looking for a chief officer who can demonstrate the following key attributes: •Build experience as Chief Officer •Great team management skill •Solid safety management experience •Perfectionist/an eye for detail and high standards •Must have solid work experience, and longevity is important. •Must be in good health, hold a valid RII/2 Master 3,000 or minimum RII/2 Chief Officer 3,000 (all valid underpinning qualifications), and valid seafarer medical. •Excellent references, which will be verified verbally.
