Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic Mate (sole person on deck) for a private 30m+ MY.
The ideal candidate will hold their YM Offshore or higher and will be confident with all deck duties, mooring, anchoring, wash downs, maintenance, tender driving etc.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced deckhand to step into a more senior role while still maintaining the ability to work outside and be very hands on.
You will work alongside the Captain for passage planning and managing all safety equipment onboard along with maintaining all bridge equipment in good working order and all logs are kept up to date etc.
This job will be based on the east coast of the US and the Bahamas and possibly further down into the Caribbean.
Good references and all docs and visas must be in order.
