Deckhand Engineer – Private 50m Expedition M/Y
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Deckhand Engineer to join a private 50m motor yacht. This dual-season vessel offers an incredible opportunity to gain valuable engineering experience and sea time while traveling off the beaten track in 2026. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and work toward a future as an engineer in the yachting industry.

Package:
- Salary: Paid in Euros
- Rotation: 5:1
Experience and Attributes Required:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role (or strong transferable skills from a related position).
- Hands-on with technical and electrical aptitude, eager to learn and assist with engineering duties.
- Must be professional, proactive, and take pride in maintaining high standards.
- A team player who is equally comfortable working independently.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum AEC-2 (Y4 or Y3 preferred).
- STCW (fully updated).
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate ENG1 (valid for at least 6 months).
- Valid B1/B2 Visa.
Additional Requirements:
- No visible tattoos referred
- Non-smoker.
