Monaco Moments: Yotspot Travel to the Monaco Yacht Show
Tuesday – Day 1
Well, the first day didn’t go as planned. We arrived at Gatwick excited to kick off our journey, only to discover our flight had been delayed. What started as a minor setback quickly spiralled into a full cancellation, throwing all our plans into chaos meaning we had to cancel our much-anticipated crew clinic. But, as they say, when one door closes, another opens—or in our case, another airport! Our new flight was rescheduled from Luton, so we made a last-minute dash to spend the night there.
Wednesday – Day 2
After the chaos of Day 1, today was all about getting back on track and making our way to the Monaco Yacht Show. A quick lunch meet up with a couple of the team from Viking Crew was a good start.
In the evening, things shifted into high gear with our event in collaboration with Hill Robinson. It was a fantastic experience, and we can’t thank Travel Cue enough for being the co-sponsor and helping make it all happen. The evening was full of great conversations, connections, and a true celebration of the yachting community.
It was the perfect way to close the day, surrounded by good company, good conversion, and a great view of Monaco from the Panorama building. We are looking forward to following up those conversations this week.
Thursday – Day 3
Today marked the official start of the Monaco Boat Show, and despite the rainy weather, believed to be the first for Monaco in 8 years, we pressed on. We kicked off the day by meeting with some prospective clients and catching up with familiar faces like AI Seer Marine and Liquid Yacht Wear. It was great reconnecting and discussing exciting projects ahead.
By the afternoon, we made our way to the Wilson Halligan lounge. Their space was a perfect spot to take a break and touch base with their team, followed by a quick visit to the Boat International stand to see the preview of the Sørensen Yachtwear.
As the day came to a close, we headed to MYS Worldwide Yacht Services, for drinks and canapes, and then rounded off the evening with the wonderful team at NauticALL over dinner. It was the ideal way to wind down after a busy day, sharing ideas, and great food.
Friday – Day 4
What a difference a day makes, today, the weather brightened up! With clear skies overhead, we spent the entire day soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, making the most of our final day at the show.
We made the rounds, chatting with Dohle Yachts, LMS Monaco, Burgess and MY Superyacht Crew.
In the afternoon we dropped by the Superyacht Supplies event, a collaboration with Venetian Perfumers with champagne, caviar & canapes by Robuchon Monaco. A very welcome reprieve outside the chaos of the show!
Back into the show, a special highlight was the Onshore Cellars drinks in Association with Port of Antigua and Barbudaon the Superyacht.com stand – Did you attend? Here we caught up with our technology partners Crew Pass, Riviera Radio, and Superyacht Crew, Each conversation brought new insights and future opportunities, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm from everyone.
But as all good things must come to an end, so did our time in Monaco. With the show behind us, it’s time to head back to Yotspot HQ in Southampton, UK. Monaco, you’ve been incredible!
Now it’s time to take all the ideas back home and get ready for what’s next. Stay tuned
