A Complete Yachting Destination in the Caribbean

The Dominican Republic is a breathtaking destination. Its central Caribbean location makes it an excellent superyacht venue, offering visitors a perfect blend of natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and activities to suit every interest.

Casa de Campo is a premier attraction on the island. The luxurious 7,000-acre resort seamlessly blends exceptional service with authentic Dominican hospitality, making it a crown jewel among the region’s top tourist destinations. Guests can indulge in a variety of activities, from relaxing in the exclusive spa or polo and tennis to horseback riding and shooting. Casa de Campo Resort is also home to three legendary golf courses designed by Golf Hall of Famer Pete Dye — Dye Fore, Links, and Teeth of the Dog, the Caribbean’s top-ranked course.

Located on its western edge, Marina Casa de Campo is an ideal destination for relaxation or adventure. Its architecture, inspired by Mediterranean seaside villages, beautifully reflects its Caribbean surroundings, offering a unique and vibrant retreat.

Spanning more than 90,000 square meters, Marina Casa de Campo offers world-class amenities and a comprehensive range of services. With 350 slips accommodating vessels from 30 to 250 feet and a 16-foot draft., it provides the perfect base for superyacht owners and their guests. Six of those stations are reserved for the Casa de Campo Yacht Club.

Marina facilities include single- and three-phase power (110, 220, and 440 volts), complimentary Wi-Fi, water access, two fueling stations with dockside fueling available, blackwater disposal, and a heliport just five minutes away. Yachtsmen can also take advantage of the state-of-the-art modern shipyard, which features a 300-ton lift and an advanced security system.

Plaza Portofino offers an exceptional fine dining experience with diverse flavors from around the world. Highlights include the locally inspired Fogones, the Spanish flavors of La Casita, Mediterranean-inspired SBG, the vibrant taste of Peruvian restaurant Causa, Limoncello for its Italian offerings, and Cinco, with its artisanal gelato, is a must-try treat.

The marina also serves as a local agent for visiting yachts and functions as an official port of entry, with customs and immigration facilities on-site. Conveniently located, it is within an hour of Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) and Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), and just 10 minutes from La Romana International Airport (LRM).

The location offers easy access to pristine, protected beaches on the Caribbean Sea, including a private beach with an exclusive beach club, three nearby islands, plus world-class hotels and resorts. It’s also a premier destination for watersports and sport fishing. The fishing season, which runs from February to May with a peak in March and April, follows a Catch and Release format. Anglers target billfish, particularly blue marlin, and pelagic species like Mahi-Mahi, wahoo, and tuna.

To this day, the 2018 season is a highlight, concluding with 972 blue marline releases out of 1,435 strikes in 131 fishing days. On December 27, 2018, Luis Viyella caught a yellowfin tuna weighing 480 pounds, the largest yellowfin tuna ever captured in spearfishing or any form of fishing worldwide.

Casa de Campo hosts an exciting event calendar year-round, and its Altos de Chavón Amphitheater will close out a fantastic year of artistic events on December 27th with ASTRAL: A Celebration of Music Wonder. The celebration honors Casa de Campo’s 50th anniversary and will ring in 2025 in fine style. Promoter Gamal Haché will produce the show, transforming the amphitheater into a Mediterranean-style celebration to enjoy pop music icons and the vibrant beats of Afro-house music with DIPLO’s biggest hits and top tracks from French DJ sensation HUGEL.

Event tickets are available at uepatickets.com and through the Casa de Campo Owners Club.
