Devastating yacht fire in Marmaris

The

super yacht industry is in shock after two yachts have been devastated after a

fire broke out in the Mediterranean resort town of Marmaris. 

The two yachts involved in this tragic event are reported to be MY

The One and MY Barbie. Early reports state that the fire broke out on one of

the yachts in the middle of the night and had already spread to the second

before the emergency services were able to extinguish the fire. 

Initial reports state that the fire started at approximately 2am

on the 4th of January. An investigation has begun to establish the cause of the

fire.

Daylight revealed the extent of the damage as both yachts appear

to have suffered substantial damage. 

Our thoughts are with the crew and those effected by the

accident.
