Marinas, Meetings & Events: Our Week in Florida
Monday 17th March – Shipyard and Marina exploring
Our journey began in Miami, where our team hit the ground running at Island Gardens Marina and Miami Beach Marina. We took the opportunity to explore the local area while engaging in insightful discussions with our clients. From there, we headed to Fort Lauderdale, making stops at The Hilton Hotel Marina, Bahia Mar, Pier 66, and U.M.C. It was a fantastic experience connecting with both our existing and potential clients at key shipyards across Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Tuesday 18th March – Fort Lauderdale
We dedicated another day to Fort Lauderdale, diving deeper into its premier shipyards, including Derecktor Shipyard, Dania Cut, and LMC. A huge thank you to every Captain and Head of Department who took the time out of their busy schedules to welcome us onboard—we truly appreciate your hospitality!
Wednesday 19th March – Off the Deck Golf event
Midweek, we found ourselves at Rybovich, holding productive meetings with industry professionals. The evening was a highlight as we hosted our Longest Drive Competition event in collaboration with Off the Deck. The event was a huge success, bringing together friends and colleagues for an evening of fun and friendly competition. Congratulations to Byron for taking home the title!
Thursday 20th March – Palm Beach International Boat Show Day 1
Our first day at the Palm Beach International Boat Show was filled with exciting meetings and networking opportunities. We had the pleasure of connecting with promising new clients and catching up with our current advertising partners, Oasis Crew and Global Marine Travel. The atmosphere was electric, and the show was off to a fantastic start!
Friday 21st March – NauticALL event & Palm Beach International Boat Show
Friday saw us back at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, where we continued to engage with industry leaders. One of the highlights of the day was an incredible lunch with Boat International at Elizabetta’s—a perfect setting for meaningful conversations. As the sun set, we joined the exclusive NauticALL Captains Havana Night at The Ben Hotel. This incredible event was made possible by the collaboration of sponsors, including Robert Allen Law, Benetti, Navim Group, MHG Insurance, Lumenautica, and Cruise Control
Now we are back at the Yotspot HQ and following up with connections made and content collected. We also want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the team that put together this event. The success of the show is a testament to the dedication and hard work you put in.
