The Yotspot Team’s Trip to Palm Beach International Boat Show
After an amazing evening at the Superyacht charities ball sponsored by LA Marine Oyster Yachts, Peninsula, International Superyacht Coatings ISC, Refit International & Starboard Card the Yotspot team embarked on a journey from London Heathrow to the state side for the Palm Beach International Boat Show.
This show is an annual event that showcases some of the latest in yacht and superyacht designs, sportfishing boats, cruisers, centre consoles, inflatables, and a wide range of marine accessories.
Monday 18th March – Fort Lauderdale
Starting off in Fort Lauderdale, our team hit the ground running, at Bahia Mar and Pier 66 scoping out the local area and delving into discussions aboard our clients vessels, where sleek design and lavish amenities set the tone for the week ahead.
With the launch of our temporary yellow branding, we injected a burst of energy into our presence. Additionally, we branded the all-black Jeep Wrangler with the Yotspot logo, creating a striking visual statement.
Tuesday 19th March – Fort Lauderdale
Tuesday saw the continuation of onboard meetings at Derektors, Dania Cut, Universal and LMC.
In the afternoon, the team hosted a successful Crew Clinic, offering invaluable advice and guidance to aspiring crew members. They answered industry-related questions, developed Yotspot profiles to improve job prospects, and provided CV-checking services to suggest areas for improvement. The clinic fostered growth within the yachting community, leaving attendees equipped with enhanced knowledge to pursue their careers with confidence.
Wednesday 20th March – Rybovich: A Change of Scenery
Venturing further along the coast to Rybovich, we also captured some amazing behind-the-scenes content with the crew on board. Be sure to keep an eye out for that! We had meetings with a diverse range of vessels, Motoryacht Scott Free, Motor Yacht Aquarius, and Motor Yacht Laurel and more.
Thursday 21st March – Palm Beach International Boat Show Day 1
The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicked off with a flurry of excitement! Against the backdrop of the Palm Beach waters, the team not only held meetings aboard various vessels, including MY Come Together, and Motor Yacht Nita K also filming some amazing boat tours. Keep an eye out for that! We immersed themselves in the latest innovations and trends, capturing the essence of each vessel in stunning detail.
The evening brought the exclusive NauticALL Luau Captain’s Drinks at The Ben Hotel, a collaboration we were excited to be a part of. Teaming up with NauticALL added an extra layer of excitement to the event. This special evening featured guest entertainment by the Drums of Polynesia, setting a vibrant tone for meaningful connections forged amidst a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, attendees were treated to an amazing fire display, adding an extra spark of excitement to the night. A big thank you to the other sponsors NFP, MYS, Williams Jet Tenders, AquaBanas, Navium Marine Limited , The Marshall Islands Registry.
Friday 22nd March – The team’s final day at the Palm Beach International Boat Show
As our last day at the prestigious event rolled around, we didn’t let a little rain dampen our spirits! We braved the downpour and dove headfirst into all the action. From catching up with industry buddies to making new connections, we kicked things off aboard Motor Yacht 4* Puppies before saying our goodbyes to the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Rain or shine, we made sure to have a blast and make the most of every moment!
Now we are back at the Yotspot HQ and following up with connections made and content collected. We also want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the team that put together this event. The success of the show is a testament to the dedication and hard work you put in.
Until next year Palm Beach 👋
