The first ever Yotspot Career Clinic in Antibes. The Yotspot team turned up to improve your chances of landing your dream yachting job!
On Saturday 15th April 2023, Yotspot held its first ever Career Clinic at The Blue Lady. It was an opportunity for Crew of varying experience, including greenies, to meet the Yotspot team. The afternoon gave the chance for all to gain invaluable advice and industry insight to hopefully improve the chances of securing a yachting role through the industry leading jobs board!
Crew from all over the world came together with their CV’s and Yotspot profiles, ready to ask any burning questions to our dedicated and highly knowledgeable team. It was such a unique and worthwhile experience for all who attended and the feedback from the crew has been nothing short of incredible! ‘Meeting the Crew and future Captains in the industry was invaluable and as a team we thoroughly enjoyed it, it was hugely worthwhile for all involved.’ Daryl Bradley, a director of Yotspot explained.
Buoy was it busy… In two hours the team managed to see over 60 crew members, guiding them through their profile, making improvements and slight adjustments to really bolster their chances at getting their next job! One delighted Crew member said ‘This really sets Yotspot apart from the rest and also provides us as crew with a personal or human element to the job search process, which has been so beneficial.’
The Yotspot team enjoyed the event a lot! For us it definitely helped outline some key areas of improvement that are needed across the board when considering a crew member’s profile. This will ensure in future that we are better placed to help improve everyone’s chances of having a successful career in the yachting industry.

Assisting in helping to shape the future of crew within this highly competitive industry is not only very rewarding for both parties but has proven to be a great exercise in getting to know each other and what we require from each other to fill certain gaps in knowledge, experience, whilst dramatically increasing your employability!
