This course is ideal for anyone working in a food handling role. Anyone working on board or about to start a career on board should hold a Food Safety Level 2 certificate. This 1-day, MCA-required, and approved course can be delivered in our Portsmouth, UK training facilities but is most effective when delivered on board, as a team.
Subjects: Hazards and Controls, Food Safety Management and Temperature Controls, Food Poisoning Control, Personal Hygiene, Cleaning and Disinfection, Food Pests, and the role of the Food Handler in keeping food safe.
Duration: 1 day
Assessment: 1 Hour, 30 Question Multiple-Choice Test (20/30 Required).
Pre-requisites: None.
Progression: Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 HACCP
Cost: £105 inc. VAT for UK based training or £700 for up to 6 candidates onboard your vessel (exam fees, travel, and accommodation are not included).
