Description
Maritime training often leans heavily towards operational aspects, yet aboard vessels, the most pressing challenges often revolve around interpersonal dynamics with crew members and leaders.
The Command and Senior Leadership Program not only equips individuals with tools to navigate these challenges but also unites seasoned participants aiming for senior roles within the maritime sector.
Whether you hold a command position, are new to bridge duties, or work in senior land-based roles like yacht management or operations, this program offers steadfast career support.
Recognising leadership as an ongoing journey, the program explores essential themes central to inspirational leadership—cultivating effective organisational cultures, nurturing psychological well-being, and fostering continuous personal development.
Delivered within a secure and inclusive learning environment, our program is led by a diverse team with expertise spanning yachting, defence, merchant navy, and corporate backgrounds. The syllabus includes individual psychometric assessments and personalised coaching for enhanced personal and team performance.
Limited to 20 candidates per intake, the programme ensures a rich collaborative learning experience and optimal outcomes for all participants.

Testimonials
\\\" Brilliant course for developing and fine tuning your leadership skills. Instructors and Keynote speakers have been outstanding.\\\"
Chris Durham - Captain, Savannah
\\\" Have the conversations you’ve had many times with yourself throughout your career with likeminded peers, mariners and professionals. This process can only make you a better leader.\\\"
Matt Drew - Yacht Manager, DPA Edmiston Yachts
\\\"Until now, as a yacht Captain, the skill I use the most is the skill I have studied the least.\\\"
Paul Neill - Yacht Captain, 65m Feadship
\\\"The keynote speech from Andy Salmon brings a wealth and depth of real-world leadership experience. His experiences in front line command roles in some of the hardest environments gives him an authenticity not often seen in speakers.\\\"
James - Yacht Captain, 60m Yacht
“Military vs yachting as many might ask, it’s no different, it’s all about looking after your people. Many words here that keep repeating, build on success, influence, empowering, listening, safe space, appreciation, and positivity. It’s about change to improve people’s mentality to serve them better, fantastic.”
Simon Jones - Yacht Captain - 140m Yacht
“I think the course is certainly going to make waves and in a way that will be required for the industry”.
Nick Doyle - Yacht Captain - 60m Yacht
“I\\\'m so proud to be part of this journey”.
Matt Drew - CO / Yacht Manager
