Elementary First Aid (A-VI/1-3)

STCW Elementary First Aid training course provides basic first aid skills for all seafarers.

This course is needed for all crew. The STCW 2010 Elementary First Aid course in in line with meeting the requirements laid down in, STCW 1978 as amended (Including STCW95 and STCW 2010) Regulation VI/1 and STCW Code Section A-VI/1 Paragraphs 2.1.3

•Course Type: Practical, some theory

•Assumed Knowledge: None

•Course Content: A one-day course designed to form part of the mandatory minimum requirements for familiarisation and basic safety training for all seafarers with designated emergency duties.

•Ability After Course: On successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an Elementary First Aid certificate and will have the skills to deal with basic first aid emergencies.
