Created for stewards and stewardess seeking to progress in their interior yachting career, this program has been carefully designed to assist in helping you advance from an introductory yachting interior professional to fully functioning in Housekeeping standards. Training modules will cover a myriad of topics where you will continue to build on your role with a greater understanding of the demographics of different departments on board and the guidelines which they operate within.

The P.Y.A interior intermediate program will further enhance your housekeeping and valet repertoire with an increased comprehension of guest care including how to arrange and inspect the suite, how to deliver and check guest amenities and how to ‘turndown’ a guest’s bed in the evening.

Practical demonstrations will give you the opportunity to practice the essentials of wardrobe management including how to arrange, return and store guest’s laundry, unpacking suitcases, bag packing, shoe management and the correct folding of individual garments. Cabin and public cleaning care will comprise running checklists, fabric and surface handing and the importance of attention to detail and speed. There will additionally be a focus on cleaning crew quarters and laundry management of staff uniforms.

Ambiance within the interior will also fall within your remit; therefore you will also be shown the skills of fresh ?ower care and plant nurturing. This Certi?cate course will be expertly led by a noted Professional Butler a career Chief Stewardess and a Florist over a duration of 2 days, with career planning, missions and goals included.
