GMDSS Restricted Operators Certificate (ROC)

The GMDSS ROC (Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate) course has been designed to meet the requirements of the STCW Convention 1978, as amended, Table A-IV/2 for Sea Area 1 Only. Taking the IMO Model Course 1.26 as a guideline.?

Course Structure

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To reach the minimum standards of competence as set by S.L 234.17.??

- Operate efficiently the GMDSS equipment required to be fitted when operating in sea area A1.?

- Responsibility when for radio communications during distress, urgency, safety and routine.?
