ICC International Certificate of Competence

The International Certificate for Operators of Pleasure Craft, often referred to simply as the International Certificate of Competence (ICC) provides evidence of competence when requested by officials in foreign.

This certificate is often required if, for example, you wish to charter a yacht in the Mediterranean, Virgin Islands or the Caribbean.

Shearwater Sailing School offers a 2 day ICC course specifically designed to help you qualify for this important certification.

If you have completed (or are going to complete) the Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper courses, then this will also provide enough training for you to qualify for the ICC.
