Masters Orals
This course enables candidates to achieve Master (Unlimited) certification by the MCA oral examination route. Candidates will receive tuition and guided study in preparation for the MCA oral examination.
Candidates must also hold a valid STCW certificate in Proficiency in Medical Care and a personal medical fitness certificate recognised by the MCA before taking their MCA oral examination. If not already held, this course can be undertaken at the Academy outside of the main course.

Prerequisites
Minimum 18 months' sea service as a watchkeeping Deck Officer while holding STCW ‘95 Table A II/2 Certificate of Competency (Chief Mate).
A valid personal medical fitness certificate recognised by the MCA.
