Officer of the Watch (Yachts) - Orals Preparation

Our MCA orals preparation is delivered by Captain Barry Sadler. Barry has been teaching for over 10 years in all areas of officer, cadet and superyacht deck disciplines. He brings experience and knowledge from a sea-going career of more than 28 years. He is a serving Southampton pilot which allows him to stay current with shipboard activity, techniques and values.

Barry undertakes MCA deck orals prep at all levels from Master 200 right up to unlimited master mariner, including all 500 and 3,000gt yacht disciplines. He has an outstanding pass rate, is friendly, approachable and encourages active learning. Skype tuition is available for those unable to make it to Warsash, however one-to-one preparations are always the most effective. Barry is supported by a team of other highly experienced instructors who share a passion for excellent standards of teaching.

This is highly recommended as a final preparation for your final MCA oral exam. It is designed to enhance and test your knowledge and prepare you to answer questions clearly, accurately and comprehensively.
