Our STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities course, accredited by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), has been designed to give students an understanding of life at sea and how to observe safe working practices. This course also provides information on emergency procedures, pollution prevention, effective communications, human relations and an understanding of the necessary actions to control fatigue.
The aim of the course is to give seafarers the essential education and training in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, meeting the knowledge, understanding and proficiency in accordance with current MNTB (Merchant Navy Training Board) guidelines.
