Course Structure
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
- To reach the minimum standards of competence as set by Transport Malta.?
- Competent in modules covering elements of shipboard safety, practical seamanship, occupational health and safety and workplace communications.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Would have a thorough knowledge of shipboard safety.
- Knowledge on basic fire fighting
- Knowledge on accident prevention
- Knowledge on liferafts & buoyant apparatus
- Knowledge on lifesaving appliances
- Knowledge on basic first aid
- Knowledge on practical seamanship
- Knowledge on occupational health and safety
- Knowledge on workplace communication
