The MCA/STCW recognised and approved Proficiency in Medical First Aid course has been designed with seafarers in mind, although primarily aimed at those responsible for carrying out First Aid duties on vessels that venture up to 150 miles from a safe haven, this course could be extremely useful for any person who takes to sea, either with a crew, or as a lone yachtsman. The course is of 4 days duration and will include both theoretical & practical tuition in the following subjects:
