RYA Advanced Powerboat

This course is for experienced RYA Powerboat Instructors who wish to teach the RYA Intermediate and Advanced Courses.

The course will cover the syllabus, teaching points and safety considerations in order to confidently teach the Advanced and Intermediate Courses.

Course Structure

•Day 1 - High-speed navigation by day.

•Night Exercise - High-speed Navigation at night, finding unlit buoys.

•Day 2 - Rough weather handling (Pre-requisites: Minimum of 18 years of age.)

•RYA Powerboat Instructor certificate.

•VHF/SRC certificate.

•Current first aid certificate.

•Advance powerboat certificate.

•Advance Powerboat Exam.
