In some ways this more advanced course is easier than the Day Skipper theory! You've already done the hard work on your Day Skipper course getting to grips with all the basics.

Now you can start plotting longer passages and working out if there will be enough water to stay in those cosy secret anchorages. The RYA Coastal Skipper & Yachtmaster Offshore theory course moves on from where the Day Skipper theory course left off. It looks in more detail at everything & helps you to become more fluent with your chartwork.
