RYA Competent Crew

The RYA Competent Crew course is for sailing and yachting beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers. For those interested in working in the yachting industry or on superyachts then this is a great way to learn the ropes.

By the end of the course you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout and assist in all the day to day routines. If you have previously completed the Start Yachting course, the RYA Competent Crew course can be completed in 3 or 4 days. The RYA Competent Crew this is usually followed by the RYA Day Skipper course.
