RYA Day Sailing

So you've got the basics, now you want to explore? For those who wish to explore coastal locations by dinghy. You will develop basic navigational skills enabling you to make a short passage plan.

The course will grow your confidence enabling you to have a practical knowledge of passage planning. The course requires an understand and competence of the level 2 or 3 course.

Duration: 2 consecutive days

Format:

Preparing and planning for a day cruise, pilotage and decision making including adverse conditions

Requirements/ Prerequisites:

Skills and background knowledge to at least the standard of the Level 2 course.

Ability after course:

Able to plan and execute a cruise, depending on conditions.
