RYA Day Skipper Theory

This course is the pre cursor for the Day Skipper practical course. You will learn the basics of coastal and inshore navigation and pilotage including chartwork, position fixing, plotting a course to steer, weather forecasting, a knowledge of tides and the International Regulations for Prevention of Collision at Sea. Numbers are limited to ensure you get the most from your time with us. The standard course is normally run over five days which can be completed consecutively, in two and half weekends or over twenty weekly evening sessions.
