This practical training course is designed for intermediate level sailors, teaching skills that will enable you to skipper and charter yachts in Sydney or other fabulous cruising grounds worldwide! During this sailing course you will discover the pleasures and pitfalls of taking command.
You will have control of the yacht for short passages during which time your instructor will be on hand
to offer advice and encouragement, and to ensure that your destination is reached safely. The essential element is that you experience being in charge, taking the credit when all goes well and learning how to improve when things don't go as well. The end of each day is spent around the chart discussing the passages and gaining from each other’s experiences. These offshore courses are taught aboard our Beneteau 40.7 and Beneteau First 40 yachts.
