Experience prior to course - Must be able to complete all the tasks in the competent crew syllabus & have the Day Skipper theory knowledge. See RYA logbook G15 for details. This course is aimed at those with some practical ability who wish to gain experience at skippering a yacht in familiar waters in daylight. The course concentrates on navigation, pilotage, boat handling & seamanship.
