The RYA Essential Navigation & Seamanship course provides an introduction to the basic skills required before taking a small boat to sea or taking an active part in running the boat.

It covers chart overview, bouyage, distance/bearing, tidal streams and heights, rule of the road, electronic and safety equipment, harbour info and passage plans.

As it is only a 2 day course you get a taste of the topics which we know from experience will leave you wanting more. Our RYA Day Skipper Theory course is the next step.
