RYA First Aid

The one day RYA First Aid course is a great course for any boater, a must for anyone looking to commercial endorse any RYA practical certificate.

The RYA one day First Aid course differs to “normal” First Aid courses, as you will look at specific injuries that may happen afloat, including treatments for hypothermia, cold water shock, sea sickness, dehydration as well as looking at the recovery position for a confined spaces.

What will I learn?

This RYA First Aid course is designed for sailors and water sports, and covers realistic first aid that you are likely to need whilst afloat – situations such as how to deal with hypothermia.

The certificate is valid from three years from date of issue.
