RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman's Course

Depending on experience, this course can be tailored to either one day or two. Hands-on with minimal theory, you will learn plenty of new skills for safety, helmsmanship, lock operations, Collision avoidance, engine checks and tips to make your boating safer and more enjoyable. Combined with the Crew course this works well for all the family. This course is also an entry level for ICC Power. Minimum age 12. Certificates for children aged between 12 and 16 will be endorsed to show that they must use boats only under the supervision of a responsible adult.
