It is also valuable for. Apart from the obvious safety benefits of extra boat handlers on board, it adds interest if everyone can contribute to the trip.

Course Structure

A two-day course covering basic boat handling, rope work, knots, mooring, engine checks and safety.

This course is ideal for new owners conscious of the difficulty and hazards of boat handling.

It is also useful for crew members. Apart from the obvious safety benefits of extra boat handlers on board, it adds interest if everyone can contribute to the trip.

Minimum age: 16 (those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

Maximum Student to Instructor ratio: 4:1

Method of assessment: Continual by your Instructor, there are no tests or exams.

Certificate awarded: RYA Helmsman

Two days. Your school yacht will return to our marina base each evening.

Includes all tuition, snacks whilst under instruction, fuel, mooring fees, use of wet weather gear and Greek VAT at the appropriate rate. Please note, accommodation is not included. We can provide a list of reasonably priced hotels near our base.
