RYA Intermediate Non-Planing (windsurfing)

Our Windsurf Instructors introduce guests to and deliver group taster sessions in windsurfing as well as helping to organise and participate in evening entertainments. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your love of windsurfing and the outdoors with our young guests. To work for us as a Windsurfing Instructor, you need to hold you RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor qualification. Other skills needed are enthusiasm, willingness to learn and lots of energy!

Useful Information

A minimum of the RYA Start Windsurf Instructor is required for this role as we offer a comprehensive training course to give you the skills, expertise and confidence to do your jobs other core activities.We look for applications from people who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to relate to young people.

If you do not yet hold this award but do have your RYA Intermediate (Non-Planing) with RYA Beach Start and Non-Planing Carve Gybe awards, you may be eligible to join our free pre-season instructor training programme held in Southern France during April each year. This intensive month-long course is offered free of charge on the provision that you complete your contract of employment with us. During the course you will work towards gaining your RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor qualification.
