RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing)

The perfect course for any young person who wants to learn how to sail a dinghy. Run over two days on the weekend or over four days in the school holidays, this beginners courses demonstrates how to rig and launch a sailing boat, perform easy and simple sailing manoeuvres and techniques to get you under way.

Land-based elements such as clothing, personal safety equipment, weather, rope work and tides support this course and provide essential background knowledge.
