RYA Level 2 (dinghy)

RYA Level 1 & 2 (Adult 16+): Start Sailing & Basic Skills: Basic theory and practical instruction on how to rig a dinghy and get afloat for the first time, in light winds and under supervision. Further training in sailing techniques develops skills and confidence. Each course normally takes 2 days, but levels are often combined to allow continuous progression through the stages. Courses are run on demand for groups of 6 participants, using double-handed dinghies provided by the club. Level 3 is available on demand, but most adults join club training and coaching sessions to develop their skills and experience, using either their own boats or dinghies hired from the Club.
