RYA Level 3 (dinghy)

Got the basics? This is the improvers course for you!

This course was added to the national sailing scheme in 2010, specifically to help people consolidate their skills before going on to the more advanced modules.

The course has the flexibility to be tailored to your needs, allowing you to become more confident in your skills and techniques.

Level: Intermediate

Qualification: RYA Level 3 Certificate

Course fee: £190

Duration: 2 consecutive days

Start: 09:30

Finish: 16:30

Format:

Coaching of level 1 and 2 skills and taster sessions from the advanced modules

Requirements/ Prerequisites:

Sailing skills to the standard of Level 2.

Minimum age 16 years of age. Be able to swim 50 metres. If unable to meet this swimming requirement due to disability please phone the centre to discuss any special needs.

Ability after course:

More confident in sailing skills and techniques, and ready to progress onto the advanced modules.
