RYA Performance Sailing

Aimed at performance sailing, looking at sailing with spinnakers, racing skills, trapezing, rig tuning and sail controls. Excellent course for racers or if you’re thinking of buying a higher performance boat.

Useful Information

Cost: £100 members £150 non-members (£50 deposit required)

Minimum age: 13yrs (Must be Level 2/stage 4 standard)

You’ll need:

- Sailing gear (We have wetsuits and buoyancy aids if you haven’t got your own) Grippy shoes that can get wet (Trainers fine, Plymsoles and Wellies not ok), swimming gear, towel

- Lunch (Our restaurant is often open for lunch)

- Notebook and pen

- Logbook
