RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)

This course is designed for people wanting to drive Personal Water Craft (PWC) / Jet-Skis. The 1 day course introduces PWC/Jet-Ski techniques for launching and landing and on-water maneuvers. The RYA PWC/Jet-ski Proficiency Course is perfect for those who already own PWCs or Jet-Skis or those looking at buying or hiring one. Increasingly this certificate is required for launching in UK harbours, but is also needed if you want to use your PWC abroad.

The course will cover slow speed and high-speed maneuvers and concentrates of the safe use and understanding of the craft and other water users. This provides the candidates with the safest systems of using Personal Water Craft. RYA PWC Proficiency Course is often used by superyacht crews, as when paired with a RYA PWC Instructors course it assists in the safe management, licensing issues and training of PWC/Jet-skis on board boats.
