This course will help you master the skills you need to operate your personal watercraft safely and confidently at sea. Perfect if you’re new to watersports and want to learn how to use your craft responsibly, safely, and with confidence. It’s also suitable for those with plenty of experience but have no formal qualifications. A personal watercraft can be a single-seater machine, or one that holds two to three people. These fast, exciting watercrafts are fun to ride, but it’s important that they are handled with care.
Course Structure
You’ll learn about launch, recovery and passage planning, high and low speed riding skills, collision avoidance, and orientation at sea. You’ll also learn the skills and knowledge you need to obtain the RYA PWC Proficiency Certificate, which is required by most UK harbour and port authorities if you want to use a jet ski in their waters.
