RYA Powerboat Instructor

RYA Powerboat Instructors are able to teach powerboating to the level of which they are trained (i.e. if you hold an RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate you will be only be able to teach up to RYA Powerboat Level 2). It is a 3 day course and covers everything from demonstrating powerboat driving skills to delivering RYA theory.

During the course our RYA Powerboat Trainers will spend time looking at teaching theory and how to deliver an RYA Powerboat Course to an acceptable level. The RYA Powerboat Instructors course gives you the ability to run RYA courses whether at your own RYA recognised powerboat centre, sailing club or commercial powerboat school.

Our Bristol based RYA recognised powerboat centre in the heart of the city is perfect for practicing demonstration skills, whilst our access to the Bristol Channel and River Avon gives trainee RYA Powerboat Instructors the perfect opportunity to practice their instructional techniques.
