RYA Powerboat Level 1

We will introduce you to the basic boat handling and safety, progressing to more advanced manoeuvres and seamanship skills. The 2 day course is spent almost entirely on the water with practical exercises backed by relevant theory sessions. The syllabus includes boat handling in confined spaces, picking up moorings, anchoring, coming alongside, as well as high speed manoevres involving emergency stops and man over board.
