RYA Powerboat Level 2

This two-day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence.

It includes close quarters handling, high speed manoeuvres, man overboard recovery and collision regulations. Our course is completed on coastal waters and your certificate will be endorsed accordingly.

We do our best over the two days to give you instruction with a tiller controlled engine and a centre console controlled craft.

The course will be mostly practical on the water, weather and tide permitting. Learn about tides and the weather. We will run through coming along side, man overboard, picking up a mooing, all slow speed manoeuvres with our RYA qualified instructors.
