RYA Powerboat Level 2

This two day RYA powerboat 2 training course is designed for absolute beginners and existing boat users alike. The RYA Powerboat training level 2 qualification is recognised the world over and, in many countries, is all that is required to allow certificate holders to hire powerboats up to 10m (see International Certificate of Competence below). It is also recognised by most insurance companies, leading to lower premiums, and for some is an absolute requirement to gain insurance cover.

3. Mooring to a buoy and alongside a pontoon

4. Anchoring

5. Recovering a man overboard

6. High speed manoeuvres

7. Basic navigation techniques

8. Introduction to making longer journeys at sea.
