RYA Powerboat Level 2

As an RYA recognized school we teach powerboating and also teach kite rescue techniques, safety cover and on water event management techniques.

Learning to drive a boat is great fun and a really useful skill to have. The RYA level 2 powerboat ticket enables you to hire craft abroad, get cheaper insurance and safely enjoy boating.

Learning in Poole Harbour is THE perfect place too. It has everything from marina’s, yacht havens, channels, conservation areas, commercial and pleasure boating…running a course is like a sightseeing day out!

Course Structure

The level 2 course is usually 2 days long and teaches everything from basic safety checks, driving, steering, coming alongside, close quarter maneuvers, fast driving techniques, man overboard pick ups, basic pilotage and navigation.
