RYA Powerboat Level 2

The RYA level 2 powerboat course covers all the basics you need to know for small powerboat handling. It looks at the IRPCS, launch and recovery, choice of boat and engine for purpose, weather, tides, and lots of practical exercises.

If the dates don't suit, we may also be able to put on a level 2 powerboat course at other times if we have a minimum of 2 applicants.

For your own comfort it is recommended that you bring a change of clothes and waterproofs. We have buoyancy aids available, and wetsuits, but you will normally be much comfier wearing waterproofs as oppose to wetsuits.

Powerboat level 2 certificates now need to be registered centrally with the RYA, and you will need to bring a passport sized photo with you to go on your certificate.
